Addendum 1.1 - The Demonic Race 'Alisia'

The Alisians came to be shortly after the beginning of the Renaissance Era. Nobody really knows where they came from, not even they themselves know. The first recorded instances are from 1454, in the Holy Roman Empire, around where today's Berlin is (if you're reading this in the future, the nuclear irradiated crater where Berlin used to be). They are a demonic race, with horns and tails and wings. They have inherent magic, however they cannot use it to do anything. It simply is what tethers them to Earth, and allows them to be “impossible to kill unnaturally”: they cannot die unless it is of natural causes.

They integrated surprisingly well into society, and even helped quell some major disease outbreaks in Europe, later Eurasia, the Americas, and other areas, due to their natural resistance and unique way of spreading immunity through blood.

Their life expectancy is about equal to a human's.
